Five Freshly Released Fragrances For a New Year

Scent is the sense most directly linked with memory and we’re keen to start off 2019 with a fresh new fragrance to make some amazing memories with. From smoky notes of cedar and oud, to sweets notes of cherry, to the scent of a classic rose, there is no shortage of recently released spritzes available for just about every preference. Read on for a few of our faves, then get ready to discover your newest notes.

Chantecaille Vetyver Oud Fumé
The latest and greatest from Chantecaille may have been created pour homme, but we’re clamoring to get our hands on it for ourselves. This rich scent contains top notes of warming thyme and bergamot and finishes with a touch of agarwood smoke. This is the ideal pick if you’re searching for a little something mysterious that not just anyone will be donning.

Tom Ford Lost Cherry
Tom Ford is a man known for evoking a sensuality in just about everything he does, and this fragrance is no exception. A full-bodied and slightly warm scent, notes of (you guessed it!) cherry are highlighted in all their tart and sweet glory. The bright red bottle is sure to catch some attention on your beauty shelf, as is the scent when worn on a night out.

Chopard Rose de Caroline
A brand best known for their stunning diamonds, it comes as no surprise that Chopard’s foray into the world of scent is suitably luxe. Inspired by the brand’s artistic director, Caroline Scheufele and her most favorite flower, roses are the highlight here – one liter of the Bulgarian rose essential oil is created with about 300,000 rose petals. Add in the bottle that evokes an emerald-cut diamond, and it’s easy to see why this perfume is an essential luxury.

Louis Vuitton Attrape Reves
The latest from Louis Vuitton’s fragrance offerings is described as the “fragrant embodiment of supernatural phenomena forever embedded in the memory of some far-flung exploration.” Perfect for the wanderlust among us. Cocoa, peonies, and patchouli come together for a light and fresh perfume you’ll be reaching for for years to come.

Cartier Carat Eau de Parfum
This floral fragrance from Cartier is said to be faceted like a diamond. Not only does the bottle catch the light in the most brilliant of ways, but the notes of iris, ylang-ylang, and hyacinth come together to create a scent that’s full of life and freshness. Fun fact: the flowers elected for this fragrance were chosen with the colors of the rainbow in mind!
